Lawyers Use Social Media on Jurors

The American Bar Association says it’s ethical for lawyers to go online for publicly available postings of individuals called for jury service – and even jurors in deliberations.  So long as the information is generally available, lawyers may research the proposed jurors even if the search will be made known to the juror.
